Man Arrested In Fatal Stabbing Of 15-Year-Old

EDGEWOOD, Md. (AP) -- Police have arrested the suspect in a triple stabbing in Edgewood that left a 15-year-old girl dead.

Harford County Sheriff's Office spokesman Cpl. Warren Brooks says 21-year-old Ivan Enrique Molina Bustamante was arrested Sunday morning in the Edgewood area, about two miles from the scene.

Investigators believe Bustamante stabbed a 39-year-old woman and her 15-year-old twin daughters, one of whom died. Brooks says the other 15-year-old has been released from the hospital, and the mother's condition is stable following surgery.

Police aren't sure yet about a motive for the attack, in part because they haven't been able to interview the mother yet. The stabbings took place inside the victims' home on Saturday evening. Brooks says there was no sign of forced entry at the home.
