Pasadena woman shot by police after pointing gun at officers, killing cat, police say
BALTIMORE - Police shot a woman who killed a cat inside a home and pointed a gun at officers in Anne Arundel County, police said.
Officers responded around 1:30 p.m. Thursday to a home in the 8600 block of Gambier Harbor in Pasadena for reports of an armed suicidal person.
Police learned that a 61-year-old woman had shot the car before officers arrived.

Officers told the woman to step outside and she got out of the home with a gun, according to police.
The woman did not comply with officers to drop the gun and she pointed the gun at police, police said.
Officers shot the woman who was taken to shock trauma in critical condition.
A gun was recovered, and inside the home, police found the cat that had died.
The officers are on administrative leave pending review.
