Police release photos of persons of interest in shooting of five Baltimore high school students

BALTIMORE- Baltimore City Police released surveillance photos of two persons of interest in a shooting that killed one Edmondson-Westside High School student and injured four of his classmates.

Police said 16-year-old Deanta Dorsey and four other students were shot during lunch break in the parking lot at the Edmondson Village Shopping Center on Wednesday.

Family of teen killed at Edmondson Village shopping center calls for justice

Officers said two people started shooting multiple rounds and then took off behind the buildings and have not yet been arrested.

Dorsey's family released this statement:

"The family is grateful to the detectives who are working to find Deanta's killers and bring them to justice. The videos released to the public mean there are concrete leads and therefore real hope that the criminals who took our sweet boy will be identified and apprehended. We urge the community to step up and share information with detectives so they can do their job. And we continue to be thankful for how people from all parts of the city have set their differences aside and come together to support our family."
