Police Reunite Elderly Woman Found Wandering in Parkville Area With Her Family

UPDATED (July 19, 8:55 a.m.): This woman has been reunited with her family, according to police.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- After an elderly woman was found walking in the area of Red Oak Road and Willow Oak Road in Parkville early Tuesday morning, police are asking for the public's help with identifying her.

Officers say she was confused and unable to give them enough information to locate her home, a relative, or a caregiver.

She did give her name -- Barbara Powell.

She is described as a 5-foot-2 black woman weighing about 90 pounds. She has gray hair and is wearing a night gown with blue hospital socks.

Baltimore County Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a woman who was found walking in the Parkville area.

She believes that she lives on North Bentalou Street in Baltimore, but investigators have been unsuccessful in locating the woman's home or a relative.
