3 Llamas On The Loose Return Home In Glen Arm

GLEN ARM, Md. (WJZ) -- Three llamas went on the lam Friday morning in Glen Arm.

Police in Baltimore County were on the lookout for the llamas around 7:20 a.m. when they got loose from a home in the 12600 block of Long Green Pike.

WJZ's Jessica Kartalija has more.

Peaceful and serene on a farm in Glen Arm, but don't let the faces fool you, Friday morning three llamas made a break for it.

The llamas decided to have an adventure  and go exploring and ended up on Williams Road and Long Green Pike.

Anne Lane, a co-owner of Hilltop Farm, says a tree fell on a gate, giving the llamas an opportunity to get away!

"It was a shock. Not a nice way to start your morning at 7:00 a.m. to be chasing llamas down the pike," she said.

Back on April 2005, a heard of buffalo made national headlines after breaking out in Pikesville.

It took about an hour to lure the llamas back home on Friday morning.
