Police Looking For Driver In Fatal Glen Burnie Hit-and-Run

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP)-- Police are looking for the driver responsible for hitting a woman who was crossing the street in Glen Burnie, killing her.

Anne Arundel County Police say 67-year-old Linda Suski, who used a walker for assistance, was crossing Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard from a bus stop on her way home Thursday evening.

An SUV hit Suski just after she got half-way, throwing her to the center of the road and shattering her walker into a dozen pieces that scattered over a 100-foot area.

Suski sustained extensive injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver fled.

Police are now looking for a light-colored Ford Explorer or Mercury Mountaineer manufactured between 1994 and 2000 as pictured above.
