Police Look For Suspects In Armed Robbery Of Pizza Delivery Man
GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- Anne Arundel County police are hoping the public can help them learn more about the robbery of a pizza delivery driver early Monday morning.
Officers responded to the 100 block of Olen Drive in Glen Burnie around 12:16 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery.
The 20-year-old Domino's delivery driver said he tried to deliver food to a home but no one answered the door. He then called the customer's number and was told to return to the address. He again attempted to deliver the food, but was unsuccessful.
As he returned to his car, four masked men apprached him from the side of a nearby house and announced it was a robbery. One suspect had a large machete and held it against the victim's throat while another suspect went through his pockets.
Two other suspects went through his vehicle.
The suspect stole the man's food, money, keys and cell phone before fleeing the scene on foot.
Several officers, a K-9 and Aviation unit canvassed the area, but couldn't locate the suspects.
The victim was not injured. The suspects are described as approximately 5-foot-10 to six-feet tall and around 180 pounds. They were wearing masks and dark clothing at the time of the robbery.
