Police: Man shot in the head, found lying in street in West Baltimore

BALTIMORE - A person was shot in the head Sunday evening in West Baltimore, according to police.

The male, whose age is unknown, was found lying in the road with a gunshot wound to his head around 8 p.m. in the 2000 block of Winchester Street, police said. 

The victim was taken to Shock Trauma. Police said he is in critical condition, but is stable.
