Police Investigating Deaths Of 4 Bald Eagles In Delaware

DAGSBORO, Del. (WJZ) -- Police are investigating the deaths of four bald eagles in Delaware.

DNR police say one of the eagles was found in Sussex County Saturday morning.

Three more--found about a mile away--died later.

Police say they were among a group of eagles found disoriented in a farm field.

Anyone who sees any birds that appear sick should notify Natural Resources Police immediately.

A group of 13 bald eagles was found dead in February near Federalsburg, Maryland.

Investigators determined those eagles did not die from natural causes.
