Police Investigate Canton Homicide
BALTIMORE (WJZ)—City police are currently investigating a homicide in Canton on Friday evening.
Authorities responded around 6:12 p.m. to the 800 block of South Clinton Street for a report of a person not breathing.
At the scene, 44-year-old Michael Thompson was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Initially police say they believed the cause of death was a suicide but further investigation has revealed that the victim was murdered.
No suspects are in custody at this time.
