Police investigate two shootings injuring two 14-year-old boys in Baltimore

BALTIMORE-- Police are investigating two shootings that injured two 14-year-old boys Friday evening and Saturday morning, according to police.

Around 4:52p.m. Friday, officers found a 14-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound in an alley on the 1800 block of West Saratoga Street in Southwest Baltimore. Responding medics transported the boy to the hospital to receive further treatment. The extend of his injuries has not been shared at this time.

According to a preliminary investigation, the boy was shot on the 200 block of North Payton Street. 

Southwest District Shooting detectives are over this investigation and urge anyone with any information to contact them at 410-396-2488. 

Officers responded to the 1100 block of North Lakewood Avenue after receiving alerts of a shooting around midnight Saturday. Shortly after, officers received notification of a shooting victim in the 1100 block of North Luzerne Avenue; there they located a 14-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound. 

According to a preliminary investigation, the victim was shot in the 1100 block of North Lakewood Avenue. The severity of the vicitm's injuries has not been shared at this time.

Southeast District Shooting detectives are over this investigation and urge anyone with information to contact the at 410-396-2422.
