Police Identify Bicyclist Killed In Hit-And-Run
LANHAM, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police have identified the bicyclist killed in a hit-and-run crash in Lanham.
Officers said on Tuesday that 34-year-old Dwight Calvin Johnson of in Lanham died at a hospital after Sunday's crash.
Authorities says a car and the bicyclist were traveling west, on Martin Luther King Jr. Highway near Forbes Boulevard, with the bicyclist traveling along the curb. Police say the bicyclist was hit by the car, and the car's driver left the scene.
Police say the car that hit Johnson was a 2010-2012 black Nissan Altima. It has front end damage on its right side, a broken headlamp and a piece of its bumper missing.
