Police Identify 2 Men Slain In Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Police have identified two men who were fatally shot in northeast Baltimore.

Police say 37-year-old Lerell McBride and 38-year-old Robert Adams were shot shortly before 3 a.m. on a residential street. McBride died at the scene, while Adams died at a hospital.

Homicide detectives are investigating. Police have not identified any suspects.

The city has experienced a huge increase in homicides, with 291 so far this year. There were 211 slayings in Baltimore in all of 2014.
