Police ID Man Found Stabbed To Death On Md. Trail

LANGLEY PARK, Md. (AP) -- Authorities have identified a man found stabbed to death on the Northwest Branch Trail.

Maryland-National Capital Park Police said Monday that the man found on a secluded section of the trail in Langley Park on Saturday night has been identified as 19-year-old Akinley Warner, a graduate of High Point High School.

Officers with park police and Prince George's County Police responded to a report of an unconscious man near the 1500-block of Quebec Street and found Warner suffering from stab wounds to the upper body.  Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
