Police ID Man Found Dead Inside Md. Warehouse

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) -- Police in Prince George's County are identifying a man who was found fatally shot inside a warehouse in Marlow Heights.

Police identified the man Sunday as 49-year-old Shawn Parker of Clinton.

Police said previously that they were called to the 4800 block of Stamp Road at around 12:20 p.m. on Friday after receiving reports of an assault. When the officers arrived they discovered Parker inside a warehouse suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say he was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police say a preliminary investigation revealed that co-workers discovered Parker and called the police. Police said he was an employee of the business housed in the warehouse.

Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
