Police: Baby Boy Dies After Mother Hits Him With Van
HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Maryland state police say a 1-year-old boy died after his mother accidentally struck the child with a van in the driveway of their home outside Hagerstown.
The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown reports the boy was hit Tuesday afternoon as the mother was unable to see the child in front of the van. Police say the boy was taken to Meritus Medical Center where he died.
Police say they're continuing the investigation, but the incident was classified as an accident.
