Pa. Man Sentenced For Selling Counterfeit Goods
BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Pennsylvania man who pleaded guilty to selling thousands of counterfeit goods, including military-grade integrated circuits, has been sentenced to 21 months in prison.
Hao Yang of Bloomsburg, Pa., was also ordered to forfeit $59,000 in several bank accounts at sentencing Thursday in federal court in Baltimore.
According to his plea agreement, Yang, 25, and others operated companies in Maryland and Pennsylvania to import counterfeit goods from China and sell them in the United States.
Prosecutors say the items included hundreds of professional sports jerseys, DVDs, computer software and integrated circuits.
