Obama Wants To Be An NBA Owner After Presidency
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- So what's next for President Barack Obama after he leaves the White House in January? Well, his love of basketball might be put to good use, according to press secretary Josh Earnest.
Earnest said Wednesday that the president, known for being a huge fan of Chicago sports teams, has "discussed" being part of an ownership group for an NBA franchise and he'd pursue the opportunity "potentially ... under the right circumstances."
Obama has mentioned his interest in becoming an NBA owner once before when he spoke to GQ Magazine saying he would "absolutely" want to be part of an NBA ownership group.
Which team should he look into?
