NFL Wants Lady Gaga To Perform The Super Bowl Halftime Show
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Lady Gaga is inching closer to one of the biggest gigs on the planet: performing at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2017.
According to Billboard, the NFL was really impressed with how Gaga handled the National Anthem at the last Super Bowl.
An NFL rep wouldn't confirm the talks though saying, "We have had conversations with several fantastic artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, at this point we do not have a final decision...We're happy there is so much excitement about the show."
It would make sense for Lady Gaga to take the gig, since she has a new album on the way, and it definitely increases her exposure.
Super Bowl LI will be in Houston, Texas on February 5th.
