Newseum Features Nationals' First 10 Years In Washington

WASHINGTON (AP) -- As the Washington Nationals celebrate their first decade in the nation's capital, the Newseum is opening a new exhibit spotlighting 10 of the team's most newsworthy moments.

The Newseum opens "Nationals at 10: Baseball Makes News" on Friday. This weekend, the Newseum will offer discounted $10 admission for adults Saturday and Sunday. Youth 18 and younger will be admitted free.

The team is loaning artifacts from the past 10 years, including the bat and ball from Ryan Zimmerman's walk-off home run in the inaugural game at Nationals Park in 2008. There's also the jersey worn by 19-year-old Bryce Harper in his 2012 major league debut.

The exhibit is on view through November.

The Newseum has a family deal through Labor Day, offering four free youth admissions with a paying adult.
