Humane Society In Need Of Kitten Fosters
KENT COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- The Humane Society of Kent County (HSKC) is in desperate need of fosters because it is nearly filled to capacity with kittens and cats.
HSKC receives kittens almost daily. These animals are susceptible to getting illnesses while at the shelter, so the goal is to get the kittens into foster homes as soon and as long as possible.
Kittens in fosters are typically able to become more socialized and have a greater chance of becoming adopted more quickly.
The HSKC will assist with the foster process. For anyone interested, an application must be filled out here.
For questions about fostering or the HSKC call 410-778-3648 and ask to speak with the adoption coordinator.
