Multiple Law Enforcement Agencies Surround DC Building
WASHINGTON (WJZ)—Police respond to possible a barricade situation in southwest DC on Sunday afternoon.
It happened on the 600 block of Maryland Avenue Southwest.
Dozens of police vehicles from at least three agencies were on the scene for several hours.
A source with knowledge of the investigation told WUSA9 that police were responding to a "threat" against a building that contained a federal office.
The scene has since been cleared.
WUSA9 reports authorities were very limited with information Sunday night.
