Montgomery Co. Court Official Accused Of Taking Up-Skirt Photos

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WJZ)—Montgomery County District Court Commissioner Israel Mangroo is facing multiple charges after he allegedly took up-skirt photos of a woman in his office.

According to authorities, the incident happened on November 21, 2015, when Mangroo called the victim—an employee in the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office-- to his office to clarify something on his computer.

Authorities say during this time, Mangroo allegedly placed his cell phone in a position to take a photo of the woman.

The victim reports seeing a flash or shutter movement from the phone.

Mangroo is charged with visual surveillance with prurient intent and misconduct in office.

His trial is set for January 28, 2016.

He has been fired from his job.
