Update On Hurricane Odile
A ferocious and historic category 3 hurricane slammed Mexico's Baja California penninsula overnight Sunday. According to the National Hurricane Center, Odile's center made landfall near Cabo San Lucas around 10:45pm MDT Sunday with estimated maximum sustained winds around 125 mph. Hurricane Odile brought monster waves, strong winds and torrential rains, inevitably causing damage and destruction to the resort town. As of 8AM PDT, Category 2 Hurricane Odile was packing winds around 100mph and moving northwest around 14mph. Hurricane warnings and tropical storm warnings are still in effect across much of the Baja penninsula.
