Richard joined Ken and Steve to talk about the upcoming series between the O's and Astros which starts tonight at 8:10pm.
Richard started by talking about the trade rumors involving Jeff Samardzija and if there was any truth to them. Richard said the Orioles should be in this situation because you get his controlling interest for the rest of this year and next before having to worry about signing him or losing him.
Richard also talked about how surprising the AL East has been this year and how the Rays and Red Sox have fallen on hard times despite his picking them to be 1 and 2 in the division. Richard believes there could be 5 teams at the end of the year all in contention in the East.
