Michael Felder From Bleacher Report Joined Scott Garceau
Michael Felder, Houston Astros and college football analyst for Bleacher Report, joined Scott Garceau and Jason La Canfora earlier today to talk baseball and NCAA football.
Michael talked first about the situation with the Houston Astros regarding first-base rookie Jon Singleton, and minor-league shortstop Carlos Correa: "The only thing that I'm waiting on in terms of position players is Carlos Correa. … Once Carlos Correa is in place, I think we've got this, and I think it's worth it for Singleton." Michael also talked about the future of the Astros, and the lineup they may field in the near future.
Michael spoke extensively on college football, from Nick Saban's recent contract to the recent discussions to college football players being paid. "The big thing for me is insurance. Even if you don't get paid when you're playing, when you get out, if you're a regular guy, and you've got to pay for your health insurance. Football players, if you're a lineman, big boys have needs, and that's expensive, especially if you're working a day job."
