Mayor Rawlings-Blake Instagram Offering Scholarships To Users A Hoax
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake issues a warning about scammers pretending to be her on Instagram.
A fake page on the social media site, called "mayorsrb," asks Instagram users to "Like" and "Follow."
It claims if users submit their email address, the mayor will give them a scholarship to the college of their choice.
The mayor warns it is a hoax and asks people not to post any personal information.
