Maryland Weather: Flood Warnings, Watches Now Run Through Monday Evening
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Flash flood warnings and watches have been issued around the state of Maryland.
Here's a list of the alerts:
- Flash flood warning for Montgomery and Prince George's counties until 1:45 p.m. Monday.
- Flash flood warning for Frederick County until 1 p.m. Monday.
- Flash flood watch in effect until 2 p.m. for D.C., Baltimore City, Anne Arundel, Carroll, Howard, Frederick, Montgomery, Prince George's and Baltimore counties.
- Areal flood warning for Baltimore and Carroll counties until 3:45 p.m. Monday
- Areal flood warning for Frederick County until 3 p.m. Monday
- Areal flood warning for Anne Arundel and Howard counties until 5:30 p.m. Monday
- Areal flood warning for Charles, Montgomery, Prince George's and St. Mary's counties until 6 p.m.

Slow moving showers and thunderstorms will continue early Monday morning. Torrential rainfall may lead to totals exceeding 2 to 3 inches in a short period of time. This may cause flash flooding of small streams and other poor drainage urban areas.
