Maryland Weather: Few cold mornings then turning summer-like
BALTIMORE -- The coldest temperatures of the season yet will be arriving Monday & Tuesday morning. A major late week warm-up will allow high temperatures to spike into the 80s!
After a blustery, but beautiful Sunday, our temperatures are about to take a plunge later tonight into Monday morning. The coldest feel of the season will greet us Monday morning. Forecast wind-chills are expected to dip into the lower to middle 30s. It's been more than several months since we've seen air this cold, so please dress warmly Monday morning. A gusty, cold breeze will slowly relax by late morning.
COLDEST MORNING OF SEASON YET MONDAY: This will be a shock to the system as it has been months since we've had windchills in the low 30s. So dress for the cold early Monday, but by afternoon you're wearing just a light jacket w/ sun & temps in 60s! What a turnaround! @WJZ pic.twitter.com/QcCzec8Tlc

Monday afternoon and evening will turn comfortably mild with plenty of sunshine and highs in the lower 60s.
You'll want to bring your plants & flowers inside or cover them up Monday evening as the first frost of the season is possible late Monday night into Tuesday morning. This potential frost will mainly impact areas outside of Baltimore City. Areas west, north, and northeast of the City. Lows will dip into the mid to upper 30s.
FROSTY START IN SPOTS TUESDAY: Best chance for frost late Monday night & early Tuesday AM is west, north, and northeast of Baltimore City. Bring your plants inside Monday before bed. May need ice scraper Tuesday AM. Urban spots avoid frost. Then summery feel starts Wednesday @WJZ pic.twitter.com/P2ipiPSMM3

Once we get to Tuesday afternoon, we are switching over to an unseasonably mild weather pattern through Wednesday with highs in the 70s.
An almost summer-like pattern will build into the area as a massive and strong upper level ridge of high pressure anchors itself across the East Coast. This will allow temperatures to soar into the upper 70s & lower 80s Thursday through the weekend. High temperatures will be almost 20-degrees above average! In addition to summery temperatures, next weekend also looks dry, so it will be great for outdoor activities.
80-DEGREE WEATHER NEXT WEEKEND IN BALTIMORE? It's likely Saturday and possibly again Sunday. Not only that, it's looks dry for now! Don't put away your shorts & t-shirts; you're wearing them several days late this week into next weekend. CHILL follows week of Halloween. @WJZ pic.twitter.com/uYN74LiX01
