Maryland Weather: A damp Tuesday with rain off and on
BALTIMORE -- Here we go again! Another gray, wet, cold and windy day!
We're looking at off-and-on rain all day Tuesday, and there could be some thunderstorms in the mix as well. And once again it is chilly out there. North winds will be between 10 to 20 mph, but we could see gusts up to 30 mph, making it feel even cooler outside.
Rainfall is on the lighter side, but there are some pockets where it is heavier. The wind could reach as high as 30 mph.
Temperatures Tuesday will be even cooler than Monday, barely making it to 51 degrees.
The normal high for this time of year is 73 degrees, meaning it feels much more like November than early October.
This wet, gray weather is from a coastal low front just parked offshore.
Worcester County is still under a Coastal Flooding Advisory until 8 p.m.
By late Tuesday night, rain will begin to taper. Showers will linger through Wednesday morning but they will be much more spotty.
We should dry out by Wednesday afternoon. The clouds won't budge much through the day.
While it will still be cool, temperatures take quite a step up with highs in the mid 60s.
Thursday and Friday look bright and much more pleasant.
Plenty of sunshine is in store both days highs will make their way into the low to mid 70s.
Our weekend stays sunny but thanks to a cold front, we'll only top out in the low 60s.
