Man Wearing Bulletproof Vest Is Fatally Shot
BALTIMORE (AP) -- Baltimore police say a man was fatally shot despite wearing a bulletproof vest and the slaying was captured on video.
Police have arrested 30-year-old Mark-Anthony Ramiro in Wednesday's fatal shooting of 28-year-old Darnell Mitchell in the Westport neighborhood of south Baltimore.
Police say Ramiro shot Mitchell once in the chest, and someone captured video of the shooting. Police say Mitchell walked to a hospital, where he later died.
Ramiro was charged Thursday with murder and handgun violations.
