Man Gets Life Term For Fatal Stabbing In Westminster

WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) -- A Baltimore man is beginning a life sentence for a fatal stabbing in Westminster in 2010.

The Carroll County Times reports that 29-year-old Tuson Reese was sentenced Tuesday for felony first-degree murder and other offenses stemming from the death of 40-year-old Steven Hobson.

Reese is the second defendant convicted in the case. Twenty-nine-year-old Michael Brooks of Baltimore faces sentencing Thursday for felony first-degree murder. He pleaded guilty in 2011.

Prosecutors say the men broke into Hobson's apartment and killed him on Oct. 2, 2010. Prosecutors say the men had gone there to question Hobson about an attempt to rob them earlier that night in the same apartment building.
