Man Found Dead After Oxon Hill House Fire

OXON HILL, Md. (AP) — Authorities say an 84-year-old man was found dead after a house fire in Oxon Hill.

Prince George's County firefighters said in a news release Tuesday that the fire in the single-family home was reported late Friday night. The department says firefighters had been told there was a person who was trapped.

Firefighters battling the blaze found the body of George Nauflett, who lived in the home.

Authorities a woman who lived in the home was able to escape and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
