Man Dies After Being Found Hurt In Severn Roadway

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Police in Anne Arundel County are investigating after a man was found injured in a roadway in Severn and later died.

Police say they were called around 2 a.m. Saturday to the intersection of Meade Village Circle and Meade Village Road for a report of an injured person. Police say when they arrived they found the man lying face down in the roadway and suffering from a head injury. The man was taken to a hospital but later died.

Police say their investigation suggests the man may have fallen from the rear of a white van. Police say they have located the van but are still looking for witnesses who saw what happened.

Police identified the man as Todd De Andre Thomas. They did not say where he was from.
