Man Who Tried To Jump From Moving Train Halts Train Service

ODENTON, Md. (AP) -- Amtrak officials say train service was halted for more than a half hour after a passenger attempted to jump from a moving train in Anne Arundel County.

County police and Amtrak police were called to the scene around 6:30 a.m. Saturday. County police say the train stopped for 40 minutes between stations in Odenton and that no one was injured.

The Annapolis Capital reports the 35-year-old man from New York City was arrested by county police and charged with disorderly conduct.
