Man Arrested In Md. In Del. Stabbing Of 2 Women

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- Police have arrested a man in Maryland in the double-stabbing of two young women in Delaware.

Wilmington police found the two women, ages 17 and 20, suffering from stab wounds inside their Wilmington home on Thursday. The teenager was treated and released, but the 20-year-old suffered critical injuries and remained hospitalized Tuesday. A toddler in the home at the time of the attack was not hurt.

Police say they identified the 20-year-old's former boyfriend as a suspect and found him on Monday leaving a home in the town of North East, in Cecil County, Maryland.

Nineteen-year-old Krishaan Dillard of Wilmington has been arrested on charges of attempted murder, assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

He's now awaiting extradition to Delaware.

It's unclear whether he has an attorney.
