Man Arrested After Stabbing Ottobar Worker To Death

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police arrest a man in connection with the stabbing death of a worker outside a popular music venue.

Nicholas Heath, 32, has given a full confession to the murder of 35-year-old Thomas Malenski.

Investigators say Malenski and another man, both bouncers at the Ottobar, were escorting an individual outside when Heath cut both of them and fled.

Malenski suffered stab wounds to his neck. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

The second victim suffered non-life threatening injuries to his face.

Heath is charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.
