Man, 38, shot and killed in West Baltimore

BALTIMORE -- A man has died after he was shot in Baltimore's Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood on Tuesday night, according to authorities. 

Officers were sent to the 1500 block of North Stricker Street at 10:42 p.m. That's where they found an unconscious 38-year-old man being treated by medics, police said.

An ambulance took the man to a local hospital, which is where medical personnel pronounced him dead, according to authorities.  

Investigators believe the shooting happened on the 1500 block of School Street.
