Westbound Span Of Bay Bridge Reopens After Serious Crash Tuesday Afternoon
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- A head-on crash involving four cars injured several people and tied up traffic on the Bay Bridge for hours on Tuesday afternoon, according to Maryland Transportation Authority Police.
The crash occurred at 2:57 on the westbound span when it was in two-way operations. The span was closed for the crash response and investigation until 6 p.m., police said.
The MDTA Police Collision and Reconstruction Unit responded and continues to investigate. Witnesses are asked to call 410-295-8146.
