Lightning Strike Starts Fire At Prince George's County Senior Living Facility Thursday Night

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- A lightning strike ignited a fire at a Prince George's County senior living facility on Thursday night, according to officials.

Firefighters said that it happened in Fort Washington on Thursday night.

Witnesses said they heard a loud bang before the fire started which sparked flames to breakout.

Firefighters said that most of the fire was in the attic and that 75 residents had to be evacuated.

No one was hurt during the incident.
