Laurel Mayor Hosts Virtual Memorial Day Service, Placing Wreaths At Ivy Hill Cemetery

LAUREL, MD. (WJZ) — The coronavirus is impacting Memorial Day events all over Maryland.

The mayor of Laurel hosted a virtual service on Sunday at Historic Ivy Hill Cemetery.

People at home were able to watch live on the city's Facebook page.

Teams placed wreaths at each memorial site Sunday morning.
