Last Call: The 'Machado-less' Orioles
Manny Machado will start the season on the disabled list. That's bad news for Orioles fans, but the season will go on. Jesse Spector (@jessespector), national baseball writer for the Sporting News, joined Zinno on "Last Call" to discuss the Orioles and MLB. Spector says Machado's absence will be noticed because he was so good at the top of the line-up.
The Orioles traded for Steve Lombardozzi, who is a switch-hitting utility man, who can play both second and third base, as well as the outfield. Spector says that he is an excellent compliment to any 25-man roster and a guy that Buck Showalter will definitely get use out of this season.
