Jon Rothstein On Terrapins Basketball
College basketball insider for CBS Sports Network Jon Rothstein joined Norris and Davis to talk Terps.
In January, Rothstein said, "The Terps have the best back court in the country with Melo Trimble and Rasheed Sulaimon." But does he still feel that way?
"One thing I look at when I'm really evaluating Melo Trimble is the mileage this guy goes through, in every big ten game that he's played since January he's played 35 or more minutes and that's got to take a toll on you after a while," said Rothstein. With that said, he believes there's just something missing for them to go deep into the tournament.
He says when people compare Maryland this year to Maryland last year, it's not really an accurate comparison because 60 percent of the starting lineup, Sulaimon, Carter and Stone, weren't in College Park a year ago.
