Johns Hopkins Lacrosse Coach Dave Pietramala On His Recent Health Scare
Dave Pietramala is the Head Coach of Johns Hopkins Lacrosse.
Coach Pietramala joined Ken and Steve to talk about his recent battle with a back infection.
Coach Pietramala started out by talking about his recent health scare saying "I basically came down with a back infection, I pulled my back picking something out of my truck...I went to the emergency room and was told it was a disk issue and the next day I woke up and couldn't really walk." As for how it was treated Coach Pietramala said "the goal was to treat it non-surgically with antibiotics...unfortunately rather then get better it took a turn for the worse and I needed to have emergency surgery."
Coach Pietramala talked about how lucky he was to catch the health scare and the great doctors he had that are helping his ongoing recovery for the issue.
