Jeremy Conn: Friday NCAA Predictions...

#11 Tennessee Vs #2 Michigan... I love Tennessee to get the mild upset here.  I don't believe Jordan Morgan can handle the interior for Tennessee on the offensive or defensive end of the floor.  I believe Stokes and McRae will have their way and set the tempo for the game.  If Michigan is hitting their 3's, then Tennessee may have to try to switch things up. In my opinion Tennessee is playing the best basketball right now in the tournament. I like Tennessee to win in a rather low scoring game.

#7 UCONN Vs  #3 Iowa St... This should be the highest scoring game tonight.  Great back court for Uconn with Napier and Boatright, going head to head with one of the best tandems in Kane and Ejim.  I expect a lot of points in this match-up. I'm going to pick Connecticut in a very close game and a very high scoring affair.

#8 Kentucky Vs #4 Louisville... What a fantastic Sweet Sixteen match-up... In state rivals going toe to toe for a chance to advance.  Kentucky has to figure out a way to slow down Russ Smith and some how clean up the boards or Harrell will make this a long night.  On the flip side, the Harrison twins have been playing great basketball and Julius Randle will be the best player on the floor.  I'm taking Louisville  to win and cover in a low scoring game.

#4 Michigan State Vs #1 Virginia... The game that everyone is looking forward to watching.  Virginia is gonna do their best to ugly this game up.  Michigan has too many guys that can penetrate and knock down the open jump shot.  The problem for Michigan State is that Virginia doesn't allow you to have a ton of open looks.  Virginia needs to rely on Brogdon and Joe Harris in key situations but they have a number of guys that can hurt you.  It's hard to pick against Michigan State with the way they have been playing, but that's what I'm going to do.  Give me the Cavaliers in a low scoring game.
