I-70 Back Open After Being Closed Due To 'Unstable' High Voltage Wires

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WJZ) -- I-70 between US 29 and I-695, just north of Ellicott City, is back open after being closed for a couple of hours because a high voltage wires is "unstable."

According to Maryland State High Administration's Charlie Gischler, the interstate was closed because the BGE wires were unstable after one of the arms that hold it in place snapped.

The roadway was closed for a couple of hours while the issue was fixed.
