'All Clear' Given At Howard U Campus After Report Of Active Shooter
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- D.C. police have cleared Howard University after investigating a report of an active shooter on campus.

Students and staff on campus were told to stay in place while the report was investigated, but the lockdown has been lifted.
The school tweeted that the admin building was evacuated after an anonymous report of a shooter.
This afternoon, we were anonymously notified of a potential shooter on campus. We took the call seriously and police are investigating.

Howard University is a historically black university in northwest D.C. The school is about to celebrate its homecoming this weekend.
