Howard County Officials Announce Site Of New Ellicott City Elementary School

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WJZ) -- Howard County officials on Tuesday revealed the site of a soon-to-be-built elementary school in Ellicott City.

Turf Valley Elementary School, the county's 44th elementary school, will be built on 10 acres of land along Resort Road, near Atwood Lane.

Leaders say the new school will alleviate overcrowding and help meet the demands of Howard County's growing population.
