Here are a few ways others can help their efforts:
1. The website HelpEllicottCity.com was set up by the nonprofit Ellicott City Partnership.
The website is accepting donations to help "business owners, property owners and residents recover from the flood."
The website sais it is currently only accepting monetary donations and more information will be released about clothing, food, or furniture donations.
According to our partners at The Baltimore Sun, the partnership raised and distributed more than $1.85 million in relief funds after the 2016 flood.
2. The Howard County Food Bank will be accepting supplies.
The organization says water, cleaning supplies and flashlights are in the highest demand. The donation drive will be located at 9385 Gerwig Lane J, Columbia Md. until 4 p.m. daily.
So many amazing people. THANKS to all the families, soccer teams, baseball teams, scouts, fraternities, churches, businesses....!

3. The Howard County Government has also set up a place on their website, cfhoco.org, to accept monetary donations.
According to the website, "The Relief Fund was established by the Community Foundation of Howard County to help address needs in the aftermath of a disaster or tragedy within Howard County. The CFHoCo Board uses several factors to decide when to activate the fund, including the severity of the incident, impact on the community, the needs of residents and businesses, and the availability of resources."
