Hogan: Md. Seen As Being Unfriendly To Business

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Republican Larry Hogan says Maryland needs to change the state's reputation as unfriendly to business.

Hogan, who is running in the GOP primary for governor, spoke Thursday in Annapolis.

He also says the state needs to change its tax structure to make it more competitive with other states. He says that includes both personal and corporate income taxes.

Hogan also is critical of the state's regulatory process in terms of how it affects businesses.

Hogan has been highlighting economic issues in his campaign for the GOP nomination.
